February 7th Meeting

Marcia Sherony of Hydro International will be the technical presenter at our February 7^th meeting.  She will be speaking about grit removal systems and other product lines that Hydro International has for wastewater treatment plants, including the HeadCell system that is currently being installed at the City’s new Broadway WWTP designed by Carollo/LNV.  Mr. S.A. Russell is the local product rep for Hydro International.

Spring Section Meeting - Call for Papers

If you were running out of time for the upcoming ASCE abstract submittal deadline on December 16^th for the Spring Section meeting in San Antonio (during Fiesta!) don’t worry as the deadline will be extended by a couple of weeks to encourage you to finalize and submit your abstract. Presenters will be notified in mid-January of acceptance, but as a rule of thumb if you submit, you will usually be a presenter.

Steel Bridge and Concrete Canoe

The TAMU-Kingsville ASCE Student Chapter is graciously asking for support for the 21st Annual Steel Bridge and Concrete Canoe competition. Every dollar donated will be matched by the TAMU-Kingsville College of Engineering.
